Bangladesh Violence News: Bangladesh is burning right now. There is no government in the neighboring country and chaos has gripped the country of 17 crore population. Bangladesh was burning in the fire of violence and protests for many months, but the matter got worse when Sheikh Hasina left the country. She resigned from the post of Prime Minister and left the country and came to India in view of the student protests.
Sheikh Hasina is currently in India and so far the government has not given any information about her location. She landed with her family by plane at Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad on August 5 and then she was shifted to a safe location. However, this is not the first time that Sheikh Hasina has had to come to India in this way. Five decades ago also she had come to India in a similar way and at that time former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi had given her asylum.
Met the Gandhi family during his visit to India
Awami League leader Sheikh Hasina has not forgotten that debt of Indira till date. That is why whenever she has come to India, she has definitely met the Gandhi family. Her relations with the Gandhi family have been very cordial. When she came to India in June, she had met the members of the Gandhi family i.e. Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. By hugging Sonia and Priyanka, Hasina had shown that her affection is still intact.
What is the relationship between the Gandhi family and Sheikh Hasina?
In fact, on August 15, 1975, the founder of Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina’s father Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family were brutally murdered. The army staged a coup and took over the reins of the country. Sheikh Hasina, her husband M.A. Wazed Miyan and children Sajib and Saima survived this massacre. Her sister Rehana also survived. The reason for this was that Sheikh Hasina was in Germany with her family at the time of the massacre.
Sheikh Hasina sought refuge from Indira Gandhi to live in India after her father’s assassination. Emergency was also imposed in the country at that time. Indira Gandhi and Sheikh Mujiburahman had very friendly relations, so the former PM allowed asylum. Sheikh Hasina came to India with her husband and children and spent five years here. It is said that Sheikh Hasina used to live under a changed name at that time, so that no one could recognize her.
Hasina’s husband also got a job at the behest of Indira Gandhi. In 1981, Sheikh Hasina returned to Bangladesh with her family and then became the Prime Minister of the country in 1996. Sheikh Hasina has never forgotten the help she received from Indira Gandhi. This is the reason why even after five decades, whenever she comes to India, she meets the people of the Gandhi family.
